Description: Energy markets are extremely important for the global economy and the global industrial production. Manufacturing, refining and transportation sectors are heavily exposed to price variations of crude oil and oil products along with alternative forms of energy commodities, such as the natural gas. This topic focuses on the application of macro-econometrics models in energy markets, such as the family of Vector Autoregressive models (Structural Vector Autoregressive, Time-Varying Parameter Vector Autoregressive models, etc.).
