The program is conducted at the end of the 6th Spring Semester and lasts for 6 consecutive weeks.

Students have the opportunity to indicate areas of their own preferences in their field of study (radio, television, print, web, survey companies, institutional bodies, advertising agencies and public relations firms, consulting and strategic communication, political communication, etc.).

Their statements are taken into account during the placement process and in most of the cases, satisfied. In every workplace from the "employer’s" side, there’s a specific contact person (under the title of the “Supervisor”) who’s monitoring the student’s training. During the advance of the Internships program, there is frequent communication between the Supervisor and the respective faculty members of the Department, as there is also the same frequent communication with the students in order to address any problems during their Internships. At the end of the program, each student presents his/hers Internship experience in a meeting organized specifically for this purpose.

The final evaluation is based on the personal "Internships Portfolio" of each student, which includes forms required to filled by him/herself (curriculum and activities calendar, positive and negative points of each week, final comments / suggestions) and forms required to filled by the Supervisor (assigned tasks and activities calendar, assessment of each assignment, overall evaluation of their cooperation, proposals). The final assessment is on a Pass - Fail scale. It should also be mentioned that students offered the possibility, for those who choose so, to conduct their Internship in foreign countries through the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical (IAESTE Experience Program).
