The Cyprus Interaction Lab studies the interaction of people with technology in various fields (including education). The lab aims in understanding user needs, to enhance their experience and interaction with technology and provide systems that follow international standards and practices.

The main research areas of the lab are:

• Human Computer Interaction (HCI)
• Instructional Technology
• Computer Mediated Communication (CMC)
• Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL)
• Computer Supported Collaborative Work (CSCW), Inclusive Design
• Social Aspects of Computing and Accessibility.

Among other the lab focuses on interactive systems design and evaluation, software usability, Web accessibility, learning software and technology, multimedia applications.

The lab has a specially equipped usability laboratory designed for running user evaluations in a comfortable environment which is configured with state-of-the-art equipment. The members of the lab are world wide recognized academics and researchers that have published extensively and have been active members in the research community.

This lab is the first of its kind in Cyprus and offers high quality research and services.
