About our client  

Our client is a well-established leader in Cyprus’ automotive industry. It employs a team of 200+ staff across Cyprus, well known for their strong culture, and their focus for business and personal growth. The successful candidate will join a strong Finance team and will be based in Nicosia. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Support monthly financial reporting and the annual budgeting process, including preparation of reports and analysis of financial data. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning, reporting, and data integrity across departments. 
  • Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures. 
  • Provide financial analysis and support during the annual external audit, as well as ad hoc analysis to support strategic business projects and the Head of Finance. 
  • Assist with process improvements and data streamlining initiatives in collaboration with the Finance and IT teams. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor or equivalent formal education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
  • Around 3 years prior experience in an accounting team / in the profession.  Prior experience in audit / internal audit will be considered as an advantage 
  • Tech savvy is a must: strong skills in Excel. Experience with BI / Data analysis tools  
  • Highly detail-oriented and results-focused professional with strong project management skills and the ability to efficiently multitask in fast-paced environments. 
  • Team player, with very good communication skills and self-driven to develop 
  • Excellent command of both Greek and English languages
