What You’ll Do

As a Vulnerability Tester, your main responsibility will be to conduct assessments on systems, networks, and applications to identify potential weaknesses. You’ll analyze results, prioritize risks, and provide clear reports with recommendations to improve overall security posture.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform vulnerability scans and assessments on networks, systems, and applications.
  • Identify, validate, and classify security weaknesses.
  • Provide detailed reports with risk ratings and remediation advice.
  • Collaborate with penetration testers and security engineers to address findings.
  • Support compliance assessments and regulatory audits.
  • Research emerging threats, exploits, and tools to keep testing methods current.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of vulnerabilities, risks, and mitigations.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, we're seeking candidates with:

  • Knowledge of vulnerability testing, system auditing, or IT security.
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities (CVE, CVSS scoring, OWASP Top 10).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret and explain technical findings to different audiences.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, Qualys, Nexpose, or similar.
