Special Scientist for Research – Business Analyst

The successful candidate is expected to:
 Perform software system analysis and identify software system requirements.
 Organize and clarify business needs with the use of a modeling language.
 Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and project teams to ensure alignment on
project goals and system requirements.
 Conduct business process modeling and generate applicable scenarios and documentation.
 Identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
 Provide support to stakeholders and project teams during project implementation and postimplementation
phases.
 Contribute to agreements and proposals for funding.
 Identify risks associated to projects/ deliverables.
 Prepare project reports and deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Science or Technology or Engineering or Mathematics
(STEM) or other relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one year of experience in a position with similar duties and responsibilities.

Employment Terms:
The position is on a contract basis. Initially, a one-year contract will be offered, with a 6-month probation
period, which is renewable based on performance. The gross monthly salary depends on the candidate's
qualifications and experience and will be between €1900 - €2700. From this amount, employee
contributions to the Cyprus government funds will be deducted. A 13th salary bonus is incorporated in the monthly salary. Maternity leave will be granted based on Maternity Protection Law 1997(Ν.100(Ι)/1997), and the existing amendment laws.
