Pool Bar/ Restaurant waiter – Seasonal Position

JOB PURPOSE:

The Waiter will ensure that all food and beverage products are served promptly and in the most efficient and effective manner, delivering the highest possible standards of service to guests. The Waiter C will also be pro-active in maintaining and/or improving the Restaurants’ or Bars’ profitability in accordance with Hotel policies, procedures and standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete the full range of restaurant duties: prepare/set up tables, stations, clean equipment, greet and escort guests/customers to their tables, present menus, provide detailed information, offer recommendations, up-sell additional products, take accurate food and drinks orders, communicate details to the kitchen or bar staff, serve food and drink orders
• Take food and beverage orders from guests courteously and efficiently.
• Serve drinks and snacks by the pool, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool bar and surrounding area.
• Set up and restock the bar with necessary supplies (glasses, garnishes, napkins, etc.).
• Upsell beverages and promotions to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Monitor the condition of the pool area and report any maintenance or safety issues.
