To support our expansion, we are looking for a motivated Civil Engineer—including newly certified engineers—who is eager to specialize in solar inspections.
Role Overview
As a Civil Engineer in our Solar team, you will be responsible for preparing, conducting, and documenting structural and regulatory inspections for solar installations across Cyprus. You will collaborate closely with project managers, electricians, and installers to ensure all systems meet local regulations, safety requirements, and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
•Conduct on-site inspections for residential, commercial, and industrial PV installations.
•Assess the structural integrity of roofs, mounting systems, and supporting structures.
•Prepare technical inspection reports, including measurements, safety assessments, and compliance evaluations.
•Verify that installations adhere to Cypriot building codes, EU standards, and company guidelines.
•Collaborate with design and installation teams to identify technical improvements.
•Support the permitting process by preparing structural documents and compliance forms.
•Maintain accurate records and documentation for internal audits and client submissions.
•Communicate findings clearly to project managers and installation teams.
•Participate in continuous training on solar standards, materials, and inspection methods.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
•Eligibility to work as a Civil Engineer in Cyprus (ETEK registration or in process).
•Strong understanding of structural principles and building standards.
•Valid certification (or willingness to obtain one) for performing PV inspections in Cyprus.
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and structural layouts.
•Good communication and report-writing skills in English; Greek is an advantage.
•Basic familiarity with solar installations (training provided for new graduates).
Preferred Qualifications
(Not mandatory – ideal for experienced candidates)
•Previous experience in solar, construction, or structural inspections.
•Knowledge of Eurocodes and local regulations related to PV installations.
•Hands-on experience with structural assessment tools and inspection software.
