Who: All Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Multimedia, Communications and Internet Studies, and Geoinformatics students. Also anyone else with an interest in information technology, software and computer engineering.

Digital Disruption & How it impacts business. During his keynote, Demetris will be providing an overview of how Digital Disruption is impacting existing businesses.  Through the keynote, reference will be made to both international and regional success stories of customers who have leveraged digital transformation to grow their businesses.

Leveraging Digital technologies to disrupt SMB - A powerful use case from Cyprus – Mando App. In his keynote, Angelos will be providing an overview of how the Dynamic Works digital platform was built, and how the platform has enabled Dynamic works to harness digital disruption by disrupting how customers order and request services.  Through his keynote, Angelos will provide an overview of how Mobility provides a seamless Customer experience, helping restaurants, cafeterias generate incremental services leveraging Mando.  As technology is one of the dimensions of disruption, Angelos will also re-iterate the importance of how Speed to market and Branding are key to increasing market share and increasing revenue.

 

Speakers Short Bio:

Antonis Skoulos. He holds a BSc University degree in Economics and Business Administration and a Masters MSc in Marketing and Management Information Systems.


For more than 25 years, he is deeply involved in the Cyprus market of ICT and possesses a holistic understanding of the Information Technology needs of the public, private and financial institutions of Cyprus. Participated in the analysis, design and procurement of integrated solutions to all sectors of the economy, including large government projects, telecommunications, transportation, banking and general trading. He led large departments of local leading IT companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers-Cycom, Demstar Information Group and Logicom Group. He demonstrates strong project management skills, and clear communication aptitude achieving the necessary match of business requirements with IT.

 Antonis is heavily involved and is undertaking important tasks and assignments, in the promotion of Cyprus as an International Data Centres and IT incubators destination. He is a strong believer of Business Integration and Data Consolidation which shall lead to a total transformation and modernization of an organization meeting the today’s unprecedented challenges.

 He is an active member of various country professional associations, as well as of social and charitable organizations. He joined Oracle in 2005 as a Territory Sales Manager and today, and as of 2007, Antonis is the Managing Director of Oracle, a full subsidiary company of Oracle Corporation. As of 2014 he is also the Leader of the Greek General Business sector.

 

 

Demetris Skourides. He  holds a BSc in Computer Science with emphasis in Software Engineering from Arizona State University, USA and an MBA from Henley management college, UK.

Demetris has held various positions including:

·         Regional Director, A&C Technology Adoption Office, Oracle ECEMEA

·         Regional Senior Manager, A&C Technology Adoption Office, Oracle ECEMEA

·         Regional Senior Manager, A&C Technology Adoption Office, Oracle Eastern Central Europe & CIS

In his current role as Regional Alliances & Channels Director, Demetris is responsible for driving a range of  programs and activities that are focused on developing indirect revenue business which include:

·         Evangelization and adoption of Oracle cross-stack products by partners

·         Empowering Niche ISVs across ECEMEA via Innovative business transformation initiatives to adopt and leverage Oracle's Big Data platform

·         Empowering TOP System Integrators to grow their Revenue Services streams by leveraging Oracle Engineered Systems as a platform for growth

·         Spearheading business, technology and technical evangelization for ISV partners transforming their business model to leverage Cloud

·         Developing Proof of concepts around Digital transformation initiatives that leverage Social, Mobile, Cloud and Internet of Things to grow the adoption of Oracle Middleware.

·         Increasing the awareness of Oracle's product portfolio including Engineered Systems, Applications, Database, Middleware, Big Data and Cloud leveraging Social media and ISV Migration centres

·         Leading all product adoption initiatives across IMC Centres which are part of Oracle's   ECEMEA Partner hubs (Russia, Poland, Turkey, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa)

 

 

Angelos Gregoriou.  Angelos holds an M.Sc. in Music Information Technology and B.Sc. in Computer Science and has an engineering background.

Leading  Dynamic Works, one of the most reputable, innovative software houses with focus on Web Application Vendors/Digital Agencies requires a high level of coordination between leadership and management.  Angelos is known for his emphasis on innovation, efficiency and an exceptional business acumen that enables him to lead within the local market by providing solutions for tailored for both SMB and enterprise accounts.
