CRO-Focused UX/UI Designer (Direct-Response Landing Pages & Funnels – Mobile-First)
We’re looking for a conversion-obsessed designer , someone who understands that in direct-response marketing, design isn’t about beauty; it’s about attention, emotion, and action. Your role is to create mobile-first landing pages that stop the scroll, trigger emotion, and guide users toward conversion, fast!
You’ll blend CRO science, user psychology, and visual storytelling to design pages that look great but more importantly, perform under real paid traffic.
What We’re Looking For
● Proven experience designing direct-response landing pages and funnels that convert cold traffic into leads or sales.
● Deep understanding of CRO and behavioral design principles, including:
○ Above-the-fold storytelling and CTA placement
○ Attention hierarchy and eye-tracking flow
○ Frictionless mobile-first layouts
○ Emotional triggers and urgency cues that make users stop scrolling and click
● Expertise in Figma , able to create responsive, structured layouts optimized for mobile engagement.
● Strong command of mobile-first UX principles (mobile-first optimization) , short attention spans, vertical hierarchy, thumb zones, and real-time readability. 90% of our traffic comes from mobile, so clarity, speed, and vertical flow are essential.
● Ability to develop clear hypotheses for every element , headline, button, form, image, and use A/B testing to validate each decision.
● Comfortable analyzing heatmaps, scroll maps, and click tracking data to understand user behavior and continuously improve results.
● Familiar with fast-loading, conversion-oriented frameworks (Unbounce, Webflow, Instapage, or HTML/CSS collaboration with devs).
● Bonus: experience in direct-response verticals like health, finance, lead generation, or affiliate marketing.
Responsibilities
● Design and optimize mobile-first landing pages and funnels that perform under real paid traffic.
● Turn marketing angles and emotional triggers into visual structures that guide users effortlessly toward the CTA.
● Define a conversion hypothesis for every element, headline, layout, testimonial, form, and run data-driven A/B tests to validate.
● Collaborate with copywriters, media buyers, and developers to ensure message, visual, and technical alignment across the funnel.
● Measure impact (CTR, CVR, scroll depth, bounce rate) and iterate designs based on insights.
● Build and maintain a library of high-performing, mobile-optimized templates ready for rapid deployment.
Mindset & Skills
● Thinks like a marketer, designs like a psychologist, and tests like a scientist.
● Understands that every pixel must serve a conversion goal, especially on mobile.
● Passionate about creating scroll-stopping visuals, emotional storytelling, and persuasive flow.
● Balances creative intuition with data-backed reasoning.
● Thrives in a fast-paced, experimental environment where iteration and measurable results matter more than aesthetics.
What We’re Not Looking For
● Brand or corporate designers focused on visual polish instead of conversion.
● Desktop-only designers with no understanding of mobile-first usability or behavior.
● Dribbble-style mockup creators who design for portfolios, not for real-world performance.
● People who can’t explain why a headline, color, or layout should increase clicks, leads, or sales.
● Designers uncomfortable with testing, iteration, and owning measurable outcomes
