2. Direct-Response Copywriter (VSLs, Social Media Ads & Landing Pages)
We’re looking for a true direct-response copywriter , not a blog or content writer, but someone who knows how to craft words that sell, persuade, and trigger emotion across multiple paid media channels. This role is ideal for a performance-minded creative who understands how to write copy that moves users from scrolling to clicking, and from curiosity to conversion.
What We’re Looking For:
● Proven experience writing VSL scripts, short-form ad copy, and landing-page copy for paid campaigns on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and native platforms.
● A deep understanding of direct-response principles . curiosity, desire, urgency, fear of loss, social proof, and storytelling frameworks like AIDA, PAS, and Problem-Agitate-Solve.
● Ability to write with clarity, rhythm, and flow , every line should earn the next click or keep the viewer watching.
● Skilled at creating hooks, scroll-stopping intros, and emotional angles that resonate with the target audience and align with the campaign’s offer.
● Experience writing copy for multiple verticals (e.g., health, finance, e-commerce, lead generation, biz-opp, etc.) while maintaining compliance and platform-safe tone.
● Comfortable collaborating with media buyers, video editors, and CRO designers to adapt messaging based on performance data (CTR, CVR, CPA).
● Can analyze ad metrics, learn from test results, and continually refine headlines, CTAs, and messaging angles to improve conversion rates.
● Strong grasp of social-first psychology , how people consume, react, and decide within 3-second attention windows.
Responsibilities:
● Writes directly for video ad scripts (VSLs) and landing pages, not long-form content.
● Familiar with creative testing environments, feedback loops, and high-volume content pipelines.
● Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Copy.ai, or Notion AI as support tools, not crutches, creativity and human insight remain essential.
What We’re Not Looking For
● Traditional SEO, blog, or article writers who focus on information, not persuasion.
● Email or brand copywriters without experience in direct-response funnels or social media ads.
● Writers who don’t understand performance metrics or can’t adapt copy based on data and testing feedback.
● Anyone uncomfortable writing emotionally charged, conversational, sales-oriented copy.
