 Full-Time Personal/Private Chef – Nicosia

A high ranking official of an overseas organization in Nicosia, seeks to hire a personal/private Chef for full-time employment (42 hours per week, Monday-Friday).

Duties include procuring food and drinks whenever necessary, preparing high-quality food for official and private events, preparing daily meals for a family, including children, as well as ensuring the smooth running of kitchen and dining area.

Candidates must be graduates of a recognized culinary school or equivalent and have a minimum of 3 years experience as a chef in preparing international cuisine. 

Applicants must:
 

• Be fluent in English
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
• Be able to work well under pressure
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule including late evenings and weekends
• Be able to prove authorization to work in the Republic of Cyprus
• Possess a local valid driver's license.

As part of the selection process, shortlisted candidates will be asked to prepare a sample meal.

The Application package must include the following:

• A current resume
• Recent letters of reference from previous employers.
• Sample menus for the following:

1. a working breakfast and lunch for 4 persons
2. a sit-down dinner for 8 persons, and
3. a buffet dinner for 15 persons
4. a three-day dinner menu for a family of 5, to include 3 children under the age of 15 years old
