An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual with excellent organisational and planning skills to join our Product Development team in Nicosia.

Product Support Analyst provides direction to product development and the overall process of the product and services function. Builds products and services from existing ideas and helps to develop new ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. Increases profitability of existing products and services to developing new solutions which advance business objectives and client needs.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Manages the process from product development to product launch.
  • Owns, manages, and communicates a product roadmap, including collaborating with industry analysts to form competitive analysis, and with delivery, sales, and relationship management teams to determine prioritization, development, and ongoing costs of delivery, and market positioning. Manages the details of product backlog and ensures continual enhancements to existing products.
  • Collaborates with product marketing to develop product marketing strategies based on established product objectives, costs, and value proposition.
  • Develops business cases for new product functionality to serve as inputs to decision making, prioritization, pricing, and client value proposition.
  • Collaborates with company business leaders, industry analysts, sales, IT, legal, strategic marketing and relationship management teams to define product goals, objectives, market positioning, and pricing strategies.
  • Follows a structured, repeatable process for collecting and analyzing market research, to include industry publications, analyst research, experiential research, client surveys, etc.
  • Participates in product concept and requirements workshops with clients and internal development teams in pursuit of product requirements, objectives, and architecture decisions. Documents workshop results in a format suitable for consumption by all audiences, including interactive review and feedback from clients and internal parties. Monitors actions to ensure timely delivery by the owners.
  • Supports the collaboration with product delivery and technology architecture to validate detailed design, particularly to ensure that product objectives and key requirements are met and aligned with the market needs and the business unit strategy.
  • Manages incoming requests for new requirements from new and existing clients.
  • Assists with planning the timeframes for requirements development up to the time that the development begins.
  • Assists with the preparation of various reports for the product team and management.
  • Monitors internal product development plans and proactively informs stakeholders when milestones are at risk /not being met.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • 2+ years relevant experience in business or computer science.
  • Educated to degree level or experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience working with senior staff, third party organisations and both internal & external clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure with excellent time management skills in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisation and customer service skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Decision making skills in order to resolve issues or make recommendations.
  • Excellent attention to detail together with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows applications: MS Office – Word, Excel. Microsoft Project desirable.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Some knowledge of Jira would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to technical concepts would be advantageous.
  • Experience working in a similar role within the IT/Banking industry would be advantageous.
