Junior Cybersecurity Engineer – Nicosia – Competitive Package
We are supporting a well-established cybersecurity company in Nicosia looking to hire a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to join their growing technical team.
Responsibilities
● Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions
● Support the administration of security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint security, email security, and patch management
● Troubleshoot technical issues related to security systems, connectivity, access, and policies
● Respond to customer requests, alerts, and support cases with guidance from senior team members
● Perform health checks, updates, configuration reviews, and preventive maintenance
● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable and secure service delivery
● Learn new cybersecurity technologies and follow internal procedures and vendor best practices
Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
● Master's degree in an IT-related field will be considered an advantage
● Basic understanding of networking fundamentals and security controls
● Good problem-solving skills and willingness to investigate technical issues
● Excellent communication and documentation skills
