RESEARCH FELLOW POSITIONS (POSTGRADUATE ASSOCIATES/ASSISTANT RESEARCHERS A’ OR B’ - R1* OR POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS – R2* OR SPECIAL SCIENTISTS FOR RESEARCH – RESEARCHERS C – R2*)
Applications are invited from candidates who possess the necessary qualifications in order to fill one (1) Research Fellow position (Postgraduate Associate – Assistant Researcher A’ or B – R1*, or Postdoctoral Researcher-R2* or Special Scientist for Research – Researcher C’ – R2*) at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Informatics for full-time or part-time employment in a European research program in the field of " Fabrication of optical components in polymer optical fibers".
The successful candidate will work on a research project focusing on the development of optical components in polymer optical fibers. Depending on qualifications, there will be opportunities to engage with the following topics:

1. A Bachelor's and Master's degree from a recognized university in related fields (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics)
2. Very good knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)
For the position of Post-Graduate Associate (Assistant Researcher B):

Monthly gross earnings are determined as follows, according to current legislation:
- Special Scientists for Research – Researchers C’
€1726.34- €3820.47
- Post-Doctoral Researchers
€1295.66- €2989.55
- Post-Graduate Associates (Assistant Researchers A)
€898.35 - €2136.29
- Post-Graduate Associates (Assistant Researchers B):
€716.98 - €1,748.76
From the above amounts, employees’ contributions to Government Funds as well as Income Tax will be deducted, according to legislation into effect.
The amount of remuneration for successful candidates will be determined according to qualifications and employment status (full- or part-time). The employment will be for twelve (12) months with the prospect of renewal. It is noted that a 13th salary is provided, which has been proportionally incorporated in the monthly remuneration.
