An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Technical Account Manager to join our international team in Cyprus to look after our clients in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert. Proactively engage with clients to understand their business goals, technical requirements and help shape their pipeline. With deep knowledge of TSYS products and services, Technical Account Manager provides technical guidance, troubleshooting, and education on best practices.

Key responsibilities of the role are

  • Act as the primary technical contact for assigned clients, working closely with the Relationship Manager.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, acting as their trusted advisor and technical expert.
  • Gain insights into their strategic goals and long-term vision of the assigned clients.
  • Actively engage in discussions to help shape clients' product pipeline and roadmap by offering industry insights, best practices, and TSYS solution capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., delivery, product, sales) to address client requirements.
  • Advocate for the client within the organization to ensure that product improvements and enhancements align with their needs.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to maximize client value.
  • Preliminary discussions with the client to assist in clarifying business needs and establishing requirements prior to formal project initiation.
  • Act as an additional point of client contact to the Relationship Manager

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science or related area
  • Experience in a software development environment. Preferably software or IT background.
  • Account management experience in the Payment Systems industry would be a plus
  • Payment processing knowledge
  • Good networking and people skills with a proactive approach to relationships
  • Strategic thinker, able to operate at all levels of the organization
  • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Extensive experience with MS Excel/Google sheets
  • Availability to travel to client sites
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
