The student residence is located in the Verengaria settlement in Kato Polemidia, the majority of which has been granted to the University by the state for the development of the third campus hub. This hub will include student residences, sports facilities, a research center, and infrastructure for two Faculties.  

The student residence consists of 9 buildings with an accommodation capacity of 500 students, along with supporting facilities such as a gym, café-restaurant, kiosk, large multipurpose hall, laundry/dryer rooms, underground parking, storage areas, changing rooms, and offices.

At this stage, the student residence is under construction, and the project will be implemented in phases as follows:

• Phase A includes two buildings with rooms totaling 154 beds, the underground areas (for the routing of electromechanical installations), as well as external works. It is expected to be completed by July 30, 2026, and the available beds will be offered for rent to students from September 1, 2026.
• Phase B, which αφορά the completion of the remaining works and the full implementation of the project, is expected to be completed and fully operational by September 2027.

The 487 rooms of the student residences consist of 474 single rooms/studios (18 sq.m.), of which 10 are designed for persons with disabilities, and 13 two-bedroom units (56 sq.m.), of which 2 are designed for persons with disabilities.

Each room has its own private bathroom and a small private kitchen equipped for meal preparation (oven, cooktop, extractor hood, refrigerator). There are no shared kitchens or shared sanitary facilities.

The total enclosed area counted towards the building coefficient amounts to 16,000 sq.m., while the total enclosed built area is 30,460 sq.m., in addition to covered veranda areas.

The two underground levels of the complex include parking spaces with a total capacity of 218 cars, 140 bicycles, and 110 mopeds.
