MSc in International Tourism and Hospitality Management

The MSc in International Tourism and Hospitality Management is a postgraduate programme of the Cyprus University of Technology, offered by the Department of Tourism, Hospitality and Entrepreneurship at the Limassol campus. As its title indicates, the programme focuses on the management of tourism on an international scale and the operation of hospitality businesses, bringing together the strategic, organisational, and commercial dimensions of these closely interconnected sectors.

The programme is designed for graduates who wish to deepen their understanding of the international tourism and hospitality industries and prepare for management, leadership, and specialist roles within them. It examines tourism as a global phenomenon—encompassing destinations, markets, travellers, and the organisations that serve them—while exploring the effective management of hospitality enterprises in an increasingly competitive and dynamic international environment.

The MSc aims to develop highly qualified professionals capable of leading, managing, and driving innovation across the international tourism, hospitality, and events industries. It equips students with the knowledge, analytical skills, and strategic mindset required to address contemporary challenges and opportunities in a rapidly evolving global sector.

Students are prepared to analyse complex global challenges, apply interdisciplinary approaches, and design sustainable, ethical, technologically innovative, and socially responsible solutions within an ever-changing socio-economic and digital environment. The programme also fosters the development of leadership, adaptability, critical thinking, and the ability to operate effectively and responsibly in diverse international and multicultural professional settings.

The curriculum combines advanced theoretical knowledge with practical application, enabling graduates to contribute to the sustainable development and competitiveness of tourism and hospitality organisations worldwide. It also provides an excellent foundation for further academic research and doctoral studies.

Our vision is to educate the next generation of leaders in tourism and hospitality by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to analyse global challenges, apply interdisciplinary perspectives, and develop sustainable, ethical, and technology-driven solutions in an increasingly interconnected and digitally transformed world.
