RESEARCH FELLOW POSITION

 (Postgraduate Associate – Assistant Researcher B)

Applications are invited from candidates who possess the necessary qualifications in order to fill one (1) Part-time Research Fellow position (Postgraduate Associate - Assistant Researcher B) at the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics in the field of “Stakeholders Engagement & Networking”.

Applicants should have:

• A Degree from a recognized University (bachelor) in one or a combination of the following fields of study: Business Administration and Finance or Business Administration or Economics or Marketing a related discipline
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
• Excellent time management and organizational skills;
• Excellent team working ability;
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment;
• Ability to work with key stakeholders from the academia, business, government and society.
• Ability to build positive and productive relationships with stakeholders
• Any previous professional experience in managerial position or leadership post in educational or research organization (university, or college or R&D) with professional managerial skills in educational environment will be an advantage.

The selected researcher will work within the Remote Sensing and Geo-Environment Lab at the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics (in different activities of the group) for an initial period of six (6) months with the prospect of renewal for 6 months.

The monthly gross salary for the position will range between €565,70 to €696,25 for the year 2023 and €562,77 – €692,64 for the year 2024.  The salary will depend on the profile of the candidate selected. It is noted that there is provision for 13th salary (the cost of the 13th salary has been proportionally incorporated in the monthly remuneration as analyzed above).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with the Head of the Lab.
• Ensure that the all the activities regarding stakeholders engagement in different funded projects of the Lab are delivered.
• Participate in stakeholders engagement activities in different activities of the Lab (as allocated by the Head of the Lab).
