RESEARCH FELLOW (POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER) POSITION

Applications are invited from candidates who possess the necessary qualifications in order to fill one (1) Part-time Research Fellow position (Postdoctoral researcher) at the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology and Food Science in the field of “Economic Valuation of Ecosystem Services”.

Applicants should have:

• A Doctoral degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university in one or a combination of the following fields of study: Environmental Economics or Agricultural Economics or other relevant field
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Organizational skills

The following will be considered as an advantage:

• Experience in participation in relevant research projects.

Τhe appointment will begin on April 2nd, 2024 through March 31st, 2025 with the prospect of renewal for an additional 12 months. The monthly gross salary for the position will be € 2.074,26, according to current legislation. From this amount, employee contributions to Government Funds as well as Income Tax will be deducted, according to the legislation into effect. It is noted that there is provision for 13th salary (the cost of the 13th salary has been proportionally incorporated in the monthly remuneration as analyzed above).
