One (1) Part-time Research Fellow position (Postdoctoral Researcher) at the Department of Chemical Engineering in the field of “Environmental Microbiology”.

Applications are invited from candidates who possess the necessary qualifications in order to fill one (1) Part-time Research Fellow position (Postdoctoral Researcher) at the Department of Chemical Engineering in the field of “Environmental Microbiology”.

Applicants should have:

• A PhD degree from a recognized university in one or a combination of the following fields of study: Microbiology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar.
• Experience in Bioinformatics and statistical analysis of environmental data would be appreciated.
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Organizational skills

The following will be considered as an advantage:

• Experience in preparing, submitting, and managing research projects.

Τhe appointment will be for a period of twelve (12) months with the prospect of renewal for twelve (12) more months. The monthly cost of employment (program budget) will be €1901,04. From this amount all legal employer and employee contributions will be deducted. The monthly gross salary, based on the legislation currently into effect, is €1659,52. There is provision for 13th salary (the cost of the 13th salary has been proportionally incorporated in the monthly remuneration as analyzed above)
