O Γιώργος Βενιζέλος είναι Λέκτορας Πολιτικής Επικοινωνίας. Η έρευνα του συνδυάζει στοιχεία συγκριτικής πολιτικής, σύγχρονης πολιτικής θεωρίας και πολιτικής επικοινωνίας και εστιάζει σε ζητήματα όπως ο λαϊκισμός, ο αντιλαϊκισμός, η πόλωση, οι πολιτικές ταυτότητες και ο πολιτικός λόγος.
Είναι συγγραφέας του βιβλίου Populism in Power: Discourse and Performativity in SYRIZA and Donald Trump (Routledge, 2023) και έχει δημοσιεύσει σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά όπως τα Communication Review, Critical Sociology, Political Studies, Constellations και Representation.
Πριν αναλάβει τα καθήκοντα του στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας και Μάρκετινγκ του ΤΕΠΑΚ το 2025, υπήρξε Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Fellow (CO-FUND) στο Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου, [...]
