There will be an extensive briefing on the safety and health protocol to be implemented by the University next week. However:

• Students from Greece and abroad must be in Cyprus at least 5 days before their physical presence at the University. Therefore, new students will have to arrange for their arrival by 27 August 2020. Those who have secured a room in a University dormitory will be able to enter their room as soon as they arrive.   

• All students, whether permanently resident in Cyprus or abroad, in case they have travelled abroad for any reason, must ensure that at least 5 days have elapsed since their arrival in Cyprus and before their first physical presence at the University. This must be respected even if a covid test has been done with a negative indication.

1. Enrollment in courses

The enrollments in courses will be made by the new students’ online personal portal l ( CUT - Portal ) on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 1st and 2nd of September 2020 . Classes begin on Monday, September 7, 2020 based on the schedule and any upcoming revisions.        

If any student has any pending financial issues (eg € 40 registration fee and / or tuition fees for graduate programs, etc. ) the system does not allow enrollment in courses. Those students who may have outstanding economic holds should be settled before starting the enrollment deadline. For questions, please contact the Service and Information Center of the University (for Mariza Aloneftis ), tel . 25 002710 and kep @cut.ac.cy

2. Information week for new students  (1-4 September 2020)

Newcomer students should attend various meetings organized to be informed about various subjects related to their students such as attendance issues, student life and welfare. The program includes specific information on the use of CUT - Portal , IT services and distance learning platform. The physical presence of all new undergraduate students is mandatory . Students who have not yet finished their army duties, are the only ones that are excused from absentees. 

Each student must have their personal access codes ( username / password ) to the CUT - Portal , which sent electronically during the application process . In case they are lost, please contact the University Information and Resource Center (CRC), kep @ cut . ac . cy . Those who have a ( laptop or tablet ) is necessary to have him with them because the update will include enough practical training.   

Each student will have to pass from the Cutting Edge (Kiti Kyprianou Street) for taking their photo for their student id cards.  Please adhere to the program according to their Faculty, in order to avoid congestions.  Student IDs will be available from the KEP from Monday, September 14 20 20 .

Students from Greece will have to be in Cyprus at least 5 days before their  physical presence is needed in the University. Therefore, new students should try to arrive by the 27 August 2020. Those / s have secured a room in the University's housing will be able to get into the room  immediately.

All students, Cypriots and non-Cypriots, in case they have traveled abroad for any reason should make sure that they have self isolated at least 5 days from their arrival in Cyprus and before their first physical presence at the University. This must be done even if they have done a covid test with a negative indication.

The update will be done online, with a duration of 60 ', based on the following program. Each student / three will receive the relevant link to email him / her to connect from home / herself.

4 . Program information for newly admitted postgraduate students (Master & Doctorate)

Information on study systyme, on student life, on the use of CUT-Portal and electronic infrastructure, will be done online, on the same day and hours. See below the links to join.

For your photo shoot for student ID purposes, you can visit University any of the following days/hours:

• Thursday and Friday, September 3 and 4, from 1pm to 3pm (in the foyer of the Andreas Themistokleous building)
• Wednesday, September 9, from 6pm to 9pm, (in the foyer of the Andreas Themistokleous building)

For the content of each postgraduate program, there will be a video conference presentation at a day and time determined by each Department. A relevant invitation with the link will be sent directly from each Department to its students.
