Where can I live?

The University provides student accommodation in:

  • Vareggaria Student Hall (Kato Polemidia – new residences)
  • Apollonia Student Hall (Limassol)
  • Paphos Municipality Student Hall (Paphos)
  • Apartments in the city center of Paphos

️ What’s new at Vareggaria?

  • 2026: 150 rooms available
  • 2027: total capacity of 500 rooms

They will include:

  • self-contained studios
  • gym
  • café-restaurant
  • mini market
  • sports courts
  • green areas

‍ Who has priority?

First-year students

If you are a first-year student and live more than 25km away:

  • you have priority
  • no scoring system required
  • accommodation for at least 1 year

Second-year students and above

  • eligibility for social rent through a scoring system
  • or access to standard rent through a first-come, first-served process

How do I apply?

Current students

  • 26 March – 2 May 2026
  • application for socioeconomic scoring required
  • supporting documents (family income/insurance records) required
  • previous year’s application is NOT valid

Newly admitted students

  • from 30 March 2026 (10:00 AM)
  • no documents required
  • allocation based on application time priority

Number of rooms for new students

Limassol

  • 150 rooms in Vareggaria
  • 50 rooms in Apollonia

Paphos

  • 50 rooms in the Municipal Residence
  • 7 apartments in the city center

How much does it cost?

Monthly rent

  • Social rent: €350
  • Standard rent: €550

Payments (very important)

  • Cash payments are NOT accepted
  • Payment only via bank transfer

At the start you pay:

  • 1 month rent + 1 deposit

The deposit is refunded at the end (if no damages or contract violations occur).

⚠️ Late payment results in immediate termination of the contract.


What is included in the rent?

✔ electricity
✔ water
✔ internet
✔ cleaning of common areas

⚠️ Excess electricity consumption (above 120 kWh/month) is charged additionally.


Parking

  • €200 per year
  • only for residents

Contracts

  • 12 months (standard)
  • 10 months (final-year students)
  • Erasmus: 4–12 months

Can I stay until graduation?

Yes
If you are allocated a room from your 2nd year onwards, you may keep it until graduation.
