European Conference – Financial Management Association (FMA) Limassol, 11–13 June 2025

The European Meeting of the Financial Management Association (FMA) will take place from 11 to 13 June 2025 at the premises of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) in Limassol. This year’s European Conference is co-organised with the Department of Finance, Accounting and Management Science of the School of Management and Economics of our University.

The FMA European Conference will be co-chaired by the Associate Professor Elena Kalotychou, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Cyprus University of Technology, Howard Kung, Associate Professor of Finance, London Business School, Christodoulos Louca, Associate Professor of Finance, Cyprus University of Technology and Constantine Yannelis, Janeway Professor of Financial Economics, University of Cambridge.

Academics, leading economists, international finance experts, and high-level decision-makers will gather in Cyprus to share their latest research findings in the field of finance and to discuss the upcoming challenges facing the global economy, within the framework of the FMA European Conference 2025. The Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Hanno Lustig, Professor of Finance at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a distinguished scholar in macroeconomics and finance.

On 11 June, the Doctoral Student Consortium will take place. The Consortium includes a panel session featuring renowned academics who will present recent research developments and offer guidance on academic career progression. During the afternoon breakout sessions, participants will have the opportunity to present job market papers or doctoral dissertation proposals and receive feedback from faculty members and panel speakers.
