Dr. Elias Hadjilias (PhD, FHEA) is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship of Management of Hotel and Tourism Department of the Cyprus University of Technology. He holds a PhD degree from the University of Lancaster (UK) in the Management specialized in Entrepreneurship, a MSc in International Business Administration from University of Manchester (UK) and a BA in Business Administration from University of Kingston (UK). 

Before joining the Cyprus University of Technology, he was Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at UClan Cyprus and Director of CEDAR (Centre of Entrepreneurial Development, Alliance and Research). He has also a consulting experience on new businesses and business development issues.

Elias teaches entrepreneurship to undergraduate and postgraduate level. His research includes issues such as business groups, entrepreneurship in family businesses, sustainable entrepreneurship and business-to-business collaborations and co-operations. He has published scientific articles in international prestigious journals in the field of entrepreneurship.
