ΠΕΡΙΟΔΟΣ ΑΠΑΣΧΟΛΗΣΗΣ:  Εαρινό Εξάμηνο 2020/2021 (Ιανουάριος 2021 – Μάιος 2021)

Το Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου δέχεται αιτήσεις για την πλήρωση των πιο κάτω θέσεων Ειδικών Επιστημόνων για κάλυψη αναγκών διδασκαλίας του πιο πάνω Τμήματος για τα ακόλουθα μαθήματα:

Σημειώνεται ότι:

α. Η προκήρυξη για τα πιο πάνω μαθήματα ισχύει νοουμένου ότι θα υπάρχει επαρκές κονδύλι στον προϋπολογισμό του Πανεπιστημίου για το έτος 2021.

β. Τα πιο πάνω μαθήματα θα προσφερθούν εάν συμπληρωθεί ο απαραίτητος αριθμός ενδιαφερομένων φοιτητών σύμφωνα με τους σχετικούς κανονισμούς του Πανεπιστημίου.

γ. Οι πιο πάνω ώρες πιθανόν να τύχουν τροποποίησης.

δ. Το πανεπιστήμιο διατηρεί το δικαίωμα να μην πληρώσει τη θέση στην περίπτωση που αλλάξουν τα δεδομένα.

Οι υποψήφιοι πρέπει να κατέχουν:

1. Διδακτορικό τίτλο από αναγνωρισμένο πανεπιστήμιο σε θέμα σχετικό με το γνωστικό   αντικείμενο της θέσης για τα μαθήματα CIS_210, CIS_316, CIS_317, OEM_201, OEM_205 και OEM_325
2. Μεταπτυχιακό από αναγνωρισμένο πανεπιστήμιο σε θέμα σχετικό με το γνωστικό αντικείμενο της θέσης για το μάθημα CIS_471
3. Πολύ καλή γνώση της Ελληνικής και Αγγλικής γλώσσας.
4. Εμπειρία στη διδασκαλία πανεπιστημιακού επιπέδου.

Η αμοιβή των Ειδικών Επιστημόνων κυμαίνεται από €34 – €68 την ώρα αναλόγως προσόντων και της φύσης των καθηκόντων. Η πληρωμή γίνεται ως εξής: αμοιβή x ώρες διδασκαλίας/την εβδομάδα x 14 βδομάδες για το Εαρινό Εξάμηνο. Σημειώνεται ότι, οι Ειδικοί Επιστήμονες υποχρεούνται να αναπληρώσουν τα μαθήματα που δεν θα πραγματοποιηθούν λόγω των αργιών 15 Μαρτίου 2021, 25 Μαρτίου 2021 και 1 Απριλίου 2021, εάν και εφόσον η ημερομηνία αυτή εμπίπτει στο πρόγραμμα διδασκαλίας του συγκεκριμένου μαθήματος.  Νοείται ότι μέρος του χρόνου του Ειδικού Επιστήμονα θα πρέπει να αφιερώνεται για την επίλυση αποριών από τους φοιτητές.

Οι υποψήφιοι δεν είναι απαραίτητο να είναι πολίτες της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας.

Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι ενδέχεται να κληθούν σε προφορική συνέντευξη μεταξύ 3 Δεκεμβρίου 2020 μέχρι 7 Δεκεμβρίου 2020 για την πλήρωση των πιο πάνω θέσεων.     

Σημειώνεται ότι:

• Το ΤΕΠΑΚ εφαρμόζει πολιτική ίσων ευκαιριών στο πλαίσιο των προσλήψεων και στα επακόλουθα στάδια επαγγελματικής σταδιοδρομίας και ενθαρρύνει άτομα και των δύο φύλων όπως υποβάλουν αίτηση για όλα τα επίπεδα στελέχωσης Ακαδημαϊκού και Διοικητικού Προσωπικού.
• Το Πανεπιστήμιο δεν κάνει καμία διάκριση σε σχέση με τη φυλή, το χρώμα, τη θρησκεία, το φύλο, την εθνικότητα, την ηλικία, τη σωματική ικανότητα, την οικογενειακή κατάσταση και το  σεξουαλικό προσανατολισμό.

2. Πλήρες βιογραφικό σημείωμα στα Ελληνικά ή/και Αγγλικά (περιλαμβανομένων της διεύθυνσης επικοινωνίας, του αριθμού τηλεφώνου και της πολιτικής ταυτότητας)
3. Αποδεικτικά Στοιχεία των προσόντων τους

Τα πιο πάνω στοιχεία θα πρέπει να υποβληθούν, σε μορφή PDF (PORTABLE DOCUMENT FORMAT – Συνιστάται το ανέβασμα ενός (1) μόνο αρχείου το οποίο θα περιλαμβάνει όλα τα απαραίτητα συνοδευτικά έντυπα (εφόσον είναι εφικτό).

3. Πολύ καλή γνώση της Ελληνικής και Αγγλικής γλώσσας.
4. Εμπειρία στη διδασκαλία πανεπιστημιακού επιπέδου.

Η αμοιβή των Ειδικών Επιστημόνων κυμαίνεται από €34 – €68 την ώρα αναλόγως προσόντων και της φύσης των καθηκόντων. Οι υποψήφιοι δεν είναι απαραίτητο να είναι πολίτες της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας.

“Big Data in the Social Sciences”

Candidates are expected to have a background in big data analytics as well as interest in social science inquiry in the context of communication studies. Specific areas of interest may include but are not limited to big data and predictive analytics, digital humanities, algorithmic culture, critical data studies, data visualization, data politics and ethics.

Successful candidates are expected to contribute to the Department’s commitment to excellence in research and teaching.

The languages of instruction at the University are Greek and/or Turkish. Citizenship of the Republic of Cyprus is not a requirement.

The annual gross salary for each position (including the 13th salary) is:                                     

It is expected that the successful candidate will be available by September 2019, unless otherwise agreed.

1. A letter in which candidates should state the Department, the rank, the specialization in which they are interested in, as well as the date on which they can undertake responsibilities in case they are elected – in English or in Greek language (2 copies)
2. Curriculum vitae - in English and in Greek language (2 copies)
3. A short review of their research interests as well as a brief description of their future research plans – in English and in Geek language  - up to 1500 words (2 copies)
4. List of publications in English or in Greek language (2 copies)
5. Reprints of their three most representative publications (2 copies)
6. Copies of the candidate’s degree certificates (2 copies)
7. Contact Details (2 copies)
8. Names and contact details of at least three senior academic referees (2 copies)

Candidates should request confidential letters of reference in English from the above senior academic referees, which must be sent by the referees themselves directly to the Cyprus University of Technology, Human Resource Department by the deadline for the submission of the applications. The names and addresses of the referees should be submitted together with the application because the University may also request additional confidential information.  The University may also request reference letters from independent referees of the choice of members of the Special Committee, if considered necessary. 

 (ii) In a CD ROM Disc (CD-R or DVD) as separate PDF (PORTABLE DOCUMENT FILES – saved in Latin characters, must not include symbols and the title of the files should not be long) files for each of the above items (1-8) submitted in hard copy.

In addition, applications, documents as well as reference letters that were submitted for previous announcements will not be taken into consideration and must be resubmitted.
