1. Candidates from Cyprus
For admission to the programme, every year, the Department of Fine Arts organises Entry Exams, under the auspices of the Examination Service of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Examinations, in late June (specific dates, are announced every year).
Examinations last five (5) days from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. On the first day of the exams, candidates are invited to arrive at 8:00 am. for instructions and control of their personal information.
Applications for participation are submitted, in advance, to the Examinations Office (specific dates, are announced every year). Interested candidates can obtain the special Examination Forms from the Examinations Service at the Cyprus University of Technology or they can find them online, on the following link here .
Along with the application, candidates must also submit:
a) Certified copy of Secondary School Certificate (Apolytirion) or Leaving Certificate (applicable for graduates of previous years)
(b) For Secondary Education School Graduates of the year of the examination, the submission of a Certified Copy of the Secondary School Certificate (Apolytirion) or Leaving Certificate must be submitted to the Examination Office by the candidates themselves, by the announced date, at the latest.
c) Examination fees are of €50. Candidates who will send their application electronically should issue a postal check on the name of: Deputy General Director of the Ministry of Education and Culture
d) Two recent photographs certified by the Mayor of their area of residence
e) A copy of both sides of the Political Identity Card

It is underlined that the examinations for admission to the Department of Fine Arts of the Cyprus University of Technology are independent and distinct from the examinations for admission to the Schools of Fine Arts of Greece, which will take place at from end of August to the beginning of September 2019 by the Examinations Service.
2. Candidates from Greece
In the context of the Regulations on outnumbered positions in Special Categories in Cyprus Public Universities (2009), the Cyprus University of Technology offers positions in the new undergraduate programme in Fine Arts for candidate students who are high school graduates or graduates from an equivalent school in Greece.
The positions are distributed through a special examination process organized by the Department of Fine Arts and includes artistic creation exams (60% of total mark) and presentation and submission of art portfolio (40% of total mark).
The examinations take place on dates parallel to the exams for Cypriot students, over two days, from 9am - 3pm, in the workshops of the Fine Arts Department (Arch. Kyprianou Street, Limassol). Applications, along with the supporting documents required, are submitted electronically through the University Portal. The procedure is described in detail on the University website (click here ).
Along with their application, candidates will be invited to submit electronically the following:
a) Copy of Secondary School Certificate (Apolytirion) or Proof of Leaving Certificate (applicable for graduates of previous years). For the 2019 graduates of Secondary Schools, a copy of the Apolytirion or Leaving Certificate must be submitted electronically by the candidates themselves the announced date, at the latest.
b) A recent passport size photo

This process is independent from the process of positions distribution to Cyprus school graduates conducted at the same time under the responsibility of the Examination Service of the Ministry of Education and Culture. It is also independent from examinations for admission to the Greek Schools of Fine Arts.
