Crisis Management Committee (9.3.2020)


Dear Members of the University Community,

On the situation with the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus causing COVID-19 infection, I inform you that a Management Team has been set up at our University, headed by the Rector and Vice-Rector, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Director of Administration and Finance, the Head of Student Services, Human Resources and Property Management and the Health and Safety Officer.

The Group will hold daily meetings to evaluate things and make decisions where necessary. The members of the Group will be in constant communication with each other.

The Group will make announcements that include, answers to a number of questions that may arise regarding operational aspects of our University.

So far, according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus, we must continue to take all general preventive and personal protection measures as announced by the Authorities.

Anyone who has traveled outside Cyprus for the past 14 days is urged to report it immediately, ie today, to the following points of contact:

All faculty members, staff members, need to maintain procedures for leave of absences. 

The first contact person for any emergency is Mr Emilios Antoniou, tel. 25002473.
