Studend Welfare & Support

We know that many students are facing serious financial and/or social difficulties. We know that these difficulties affect their attendance and may lead to temporary or permanent cessation of their studies.

Students who need financial assistance can visit at any time the Student Services and discuss confidentially with competent officers.

The resources available for financial support are mainly the following:

  • Financial Aids, directly and/or through the Student Welfare Charity Association (only for Cyprus permanent residents)
  • Free daily meal, offered by the Christian Orthodox Bishopric of Limassol
  • Employment opportunities at the University
  • Scholarships in the form of exemption of tuition fees for postgraduate studies (only for Cyprus permanent residents)
  • Rent allowance for housing (only for Cyprus permanent residents)

For the evaluation of all requests in an objective and transparent way, the University implements the Point allocation Rules on the Socio-economic status.

In addition, the University promotes and rewards academic excellence by granting scholarships and prizes, from its own resources and from sponsoring private institutions and companies.
